Housing Options

To be eligible for the City of London Housing Register you must be either living or working within the City “Square Mile” for at least two years or be an existing tenant who pays rent to the City of London.   If you do not meet these requirements you should contact the local authority where you live, you may be eligible to join their housing register.

If you are a tenant in social housing – either Council or Housing Association - and wish to move to another flat you may be able to swap your home with another tenant. Swaps can be arranged to anywhere in the UK and can involve more than two households.
